Bought a 2.0D last week (2005) and have driven a 130bhp Passat for the last 18 months, but the difference in power is huge!
I'm wondering if it was remapped at some stage. On wet roads, taking off with a good bit of throttle, but not totally thrashing it.....I get wheelspin in 1st, 2nd AND 3rd gear! The tyres are not new, but probably still 50-60% Surely a stock 2.0D won't spin the wheels right up to 3rd gear?? |

Might be a good idea to get it on a rolling road
