Default Steering/ suspension issue

I have owned my XC90 D5 Momentum for 6 months now, registered in July 2015 it was a 6 month old demonstrator. Been really please with the car, always been a BMW man but have been impressed with the build quality. I have had a few issues though, aside from the usual tyre noise and hard ride (on 20'' counti's) - I have played around with different tyre pressures and the noise/ comfort issue is slightly better.

I had some serious issues with screeching brakes back in April - which turned out to be an issue Volvo UK were aware of and dealer replaced front and rear pads and discs after 2 separate visits.

More recently I have been experiencing a noticeable knocking sound when the steering is on full lock or near to full lock at slow speeds. More noticeable when car goes over small bumps/ undulations. It can also be heard when the car is travelling in a straight line at low speed (30mph) but less often and less noticeable.

I have read on Swedespeed about other owners with similar issue and was identified as a fault with suspension/ struts - anyone else experienced anything similar?

I'm getting the car booked in this week so will report back on outcome.

Momentum on air on 20s. Not knocking but my front end crashes into everything no matter how small - I thought it was the "huge" wheels until I tried a demo on standard suspension and 22in which is significantly more pleasant and very very palatable (other than the look). I also think that suspension not coping contributes to extra noise. I am insisting on that TJ being applied to mine.
