Default 1.6 judder / misfire

Im hoping this is an abvious problem.
1.6 Diesel V50, 2011 DRIVe

When driving at steady speed, under light load there is often a judder, or mis.
Can anyone assist please?

Doing a code read, it comes up with a injector out of tolerance - i dont recall the codes, but are these related.
If not, whats up with the injectors?

thanks

Your issue sounds the same as mine but mine is a 2.0 diesel. By any chance does yours just do it when it's warm?

Misfire/judder is usually an injector sticking if its on its way out. Have you got any fault codes? They are usually wrong and no help at all but you never know!

what code reader are you using to get "no codes" generic, or volvo specific?
I use an iCarsoft, whihc i find pretty good for the money

I have a 2011 s40 d2 r design and had a similar issue with mine and the Volvo dealer said it was the injectors needing to be "realigned" or something like that, however they had the car for a day and it seemed ok but next morning it was like a tractor on two cylinders but on the way to them it cleared so it was in again for the job to be redone and they kept it till the following morning to be sure and its like a different car now. I had rear brake pads and a software update at the same time at the bill was £300. Good luck
