Default Phase 1 vs 2 front suspension.

I was looking to get some lowering springs for my Phase 1 V40 (1999) when I came across some adjustable coilovers for a good price.

Listed as 1995-2004 the item has a disclaimer saying "with veh. before Yr. 2000, the support mounting from the model from 2000 onwards is needed"

Can anyone tell me exactly what part(s) are required to make these coilovers fit or is it not as simple as it sounds? Thanks, Jason.

The droplink position is a bit different, i got Ph1 struts by mistake and the droplinks were wrong for my Ph2. I know the topmount seemed fine but that was with my own springs but, you might need a top mount from Ph1.

I had P1 T4 springs in my 2001 P2 V40 and no problems with them either fitting or running - but given that mine was a fairly early P2 its always possible it came from the factory with P1 struts etc

What coilovers were you looking at? I ask bc KW I believe needs the ph1 mounts. (I say this as a friend with an 04, maybe they also have an 00-04 variety that wouldn't have needed the ph1 mounts)
