Default Help please, fuse 9 infotainment, RTI, CD, MD

I'm after some guidance please.

I have a 2006 T6 exec.

I've have a parasitic draw which I've been trying to trace. I've narrowed it to fuse 9. If I pull fuse 9 and wait for the car to sleep the meter drops significantly so this must be the cause.

Can some knowledgable please explain what RTI, CD and MD are in a bit more detail?

I realise RTI is road traffic but My car has had an aftermarket Kenwood system fitted so the original head unit isn't there and pop up sat nav isn't operable anyway and obviously neither is the CD so presumably these aren't drawing current. I've unplugged the power to the satnav disc unit under the front seat and this makes no difference either.

Have also pulled the fuse to the telephone in case that was th cause, but no.

So what is MD? Minidisc?

I'm slowly working through trying to find what else might be pulling current but just wondered if I'm missing something obvious here.

Can I just leave fuse 9 out as the ICE still works fine with it out. .

Any guidance appreciated.

Cheers

Uisng a MY2009 XC90 wiring diagram as reference:

Fuse 9 powers the following:
DPY: the popup DisPlaY for the nav system (if fitted)
MMM: Multi Media Module, the navigation DVD drive unit under the drivers seat (if fitted)
GPS: the GPS module, also under the drivers seat (if fitted)
RDAR: satellite radio receiver (if fitted, US cars), under roof by top of tailgate

If you fitted a new radio but left the popup screen, DVD drive and GPS in place, then try unplugging their connectors one by one until you find the device which is not shutting down correctly

Thanks for that. Have pulled fuse 9 for now. Charged the battery and will what happens tomorrow. Given that the popup screen isn't in use and the only other thing on that circuit is the flip down roof mounted dvd, which I also don't need I may just leave the fuse out for now. I will when time permits trace it to the actual device. The aftermarket head unit was fitted prior to my ownership by an audio specialist but I don't think that is the problem after all.

I may just remove the dvd screen and replace it with a standard grille (if I can find one). Ideally I would have preferred to put an OE head unit back in but given that isn't possible without buying a new unit from Volvo and having it coded I'll settle for the Kenwood unit.

Let's see if the battery still has any charge tomorrow.
