Towing a horse box
I'm toying with getting rid of the wife's disco and my v60 and getting a xc90 , my question is what are they like for towing. I need really a minimum of 2500 kg towing limit.

Not sure about the newer ones but when I looked at one to tow my boat they could only tow 2250kg. Bought a disco instead.

I know the old shape isn't up to the job of towing heavy things , but I was wondering about the new one only. It's suppose to be able to tow 2500plus kg but has anybody actually used it for that yet?

Yep 345bhp is enough grunt, but at weighing 1000kg it may be a little light :-)

fourtunatly my wife has now decided that she needs to tow under 2 tons, so I can get away with a xc60 or xc70.
That should save a few bob.
