My telescopic antenna decided to keep going up and up and up when leaving the ace cafe meet yesterday. It pushed itself out and hung down the side of the car till I took it out of the slot.
Any ideas on how to fix it? I cba to refit a new motor and I have never fitted a new mast. Apparently you can refit them without going inside the car. Iv stuck the belt down the hole to try and get it back in while the motor is winding itself back in. But no luck This was two weeks into having a dab radio fitted so now no signal grrr

not entirely sure of how to help with the fault, it does sound like a solenoid problem I would imagine. But I do have an electric aerial mast if you do need one.

Took the antenna from my 440 parts car...I opened the boot expecting to have to remove the plastic cowling round the inside of the boot. I found a fu**ING Hatch that you twist and pull open...There is sits in all its glory, so easy to get to! One screw and one bolt out it came.
Took it over to the 460 and had to empty the boot, remove the boot tray, remove the carpet, push the rear seat down, pull out the plastic clips holding the plastic cover in place, pull out the plastic cover, unscrew the rear light controller, unscrew the mounting bracket and then try to remove the oversized after market antenna motor through the impossibly small holes. Unplug it. Next fit the 440 antenna motor and mast. Fits in the holes lovely...ah what's this? The chappy sleeve on the top of the antenna is different...so had to cut it off and file it back, then refitted...much better I can now receive dab again. I wish it was as easy as the 440 version
