Question emissions and spark plugs (2.3 t5 p2 v70)

last year my emissions only just scraped through on the mot test, what would cause this, how can I lower the emissions. the last mot it had a fairly new air filter, about 4000 miles.
today ive put a new air filter. the spark plugs are at least 15000 miles old, could this cause high emission, new plugs from Volvo are nearly £60, whats the make and model number of the plugs I need, so I can shop around

I have used a product in the past called Cataclean. It is a product added to the fuel that is designed to clean out the fuel system and also clean oily or gunky deposits from the catalytic converter and restore catalyst efficiency.

Those deposits can build up inside the cat if there is not a complete burn in the cylinder, so I guess spark plugs could do it...but so could other issues such as sensors and computers associated with delivering the correct fuel/air mix.

Which particular reading was high? CO, HC or lambda? Idle or fast idle?

Its the lambda i think. Mot cert says actual value is 1.015
Max limit is 1030. Thay said thay had to warm the engine up to get it to pass.
Ive got some of that cataclean, ill put it in later.
I got no answer from frf so i couldnt get a price on plugs yet
