V70r AWD Auto to Manual Conversion

Hello, has anyone undertaken this conversion. I have a T plate v70r awd auto and a T plate v70awd manual estate. I have seen a posting on this conversion done in the USA, as they never sold the v70r awd manual there. It's beyond my home skills so I would looking for a good mechanic near Swindon to do this. Any thoughts welcome. Simon

I looked into this when I had my laser v70r, I sold the m66 (s60r) box to molet5r on vpcuk, he's carrying on with the conversion on his car.

You'll need a remap as well, but just a heads up don't map so the car thinks it's in neutral as other people have as there a 4,500 limiter.

Many thanks. I will get in touch. The autobox is working well, although I just can't stop coming up with ways to make the car better. Mine is a Laser Blue Phase 3. Great colour.
