A vice or a g-clamp

No need for any press. Just clean out all the old rubber so that the metal outer is nice and clean, grease and press in by hand. The crush tubes can be fitted with a G clamp or with a vice.

To aid fitting the poly bush either use washing up liquid or red rubber grease , same as you would for rubber bushes . I have often used a vice to press in bushes or for those fitted into tubes , sockets & threaded studding to pull the bush into the arm . This also works to remove stubborn bushes

Hi dingov70

I used a press as I had one available. Nothing fancy, just a cheap one like Frosts.co.uk sell.

I'm sure a good vice would do the same with inserting the polybush.

NEVER ise washing up liquid on any bushes as it contains salt and will make teh steel parts rust.

Poly bushes should always be fitted with grease, if you are doing a full suspension rebuild condier fitting brease nipples so that the bushes can be regreased on the car

The superflex ones come with their own grease. Thats all you need to push them in by hand
I've 'only' got polys in the rear trailing arms on mine.
Fitted in 07 or 08. Mike Brace fitted one side & then 'instructed' me doing t'other.
If I can, anyone can. So much easier than needing to press in OE type ones with, 'just make yourself a simple pressing tool', lol.

Pics probs not in correct order, but you get the idea.....

^^^The old OE one after, what? 18yrs or so. So can't really complain at that.
