V50 General : - V50 1,6D R Design?

Hi Guys

I am buying a V50 1,6 D from late 2007 (2008 model) with R Design trim however it does not seem that Volvo produced the V50 with R design trim and a 1,6 Diesel engine before 2010.

Should I assume that it is a factory mounted R design trim or something added by a previous owner?

I only have the attached picture from the dealership but you might be able to see that the rims have some R Design detailing as a well as Volvo V50 decal, I haven't seen these anywhere else either so it might indicate that the trim has been added by a previous owner as part of customization of the car.

Also i was hoping to update the front grill with the "new" design logo with the circular Volvo badge instead of the square one.
Does anybody know if a 2010 grill will fit directly on a 2008 model?

Yes the grill is a straight swap, as for if the body kit is factory, unknown, someone more knowledgeable than myself might know.
