Default Heater Hoses?

Hi,
anybody know the best place to get new heater hoses?
Mine's a B230F and I need the heater inlet hose Number 463524( the bendy one that goes from the head to the heater via the back of the dipstick tube).
Local motor factor no longer deals in any hoses for any vehicles, which astonished me.
Any info appreciated, or happy to buy a hose if its new.
Cheers.

That bend is kewl and to perhaps state the obvious - sorry - the bend can be set to keep the hose away from rubbing against the dipstick. Kushtie.

Best to change both hoses in my guestimate. They're not expensive. Get them both done while you're fighting in that area, and while the colling sustem is at least partially drained and possibly losing antifreeze.

Do enjoy getting a hose clip tool on to the hose clips and enjoy getting a grip to push the hoses fully on to the pipes!

Thanks all.
Yes, I am anticipating having fun standing on top of the engine whist threading the screwdriver through the gap in the inet manifold, lol.
O.k, I'll try Volvo and do both at the same time, false economy not to.
At 224,000 miles I think they've lasted ok.

I recently suffered the same when the one over the dipstick bracket wore through.
I changed both whilst I was at it. Getting the old hose off the stub on the head wasn't a problem but pushing on the new one was fun!

I bought mine from Brookhouse Volvo and they were delivered the next day.

I wrapped my new hose in some of the old hose as protection from rubbing through.

Dip the end in boiling water first to soften it.
But only the end, so that you still have something cool to hold, and a rigid hose to push with.

Thanks Clifford. A good old technique from e.g. fitting bottled gas hoses.

Now, why didn't I think of that when I did my heater hoses? [Hit head on desk emoticon]

Managed to remove the old one by kneeling on drivers side strut tower and levering it off the pipe with a large screwdriver carefully inserted from above through the gap in the inlet manifold, luckily the pipe wasn't tight but the jubilee clip was, and had ben carefully mangled and rounded by some kind soul, rendering all other methods of removal impossible.
Have now got a temporary used hose from a scrapper whilst I find a new one,
amazingly little coolant was lost taking the old one off.
Local Volvo dealer said NLA.
Think I'll go for one from Brookhouse.
