the Thor's needed a bit of a clean and spruce up and i wasn't too keen on the Landsail tyres when i first bought it - ordered 4 Vredstein Ultra Sessanta's and 4 17" Dezent (German make) alloys for £550 delivered from Mytyres. Well happy considering 4 Vredsteins would have cost me £350 fitted. Hoping i can recoup the other £200 by flogging the old wheels and tyres.

Car looks great. Boss as in wife? Lol. Doubt it, they have eyes like a hawk. Just out of interest, where do you stand with insurance company swapping standard wheels for aftermarket?

Yep. She gets suspicious when I spend more than 15 minutes near the car...

I notified my insurers - Hastings and they charged £10 more for different alloys and window tints.
My other motor which I'm trying to sell - an Xc90 - had different Volvo alloys on to the ones it originally came out the factory on - even though they're genuine Volvo - insurers still classed it as a modification.
