Default Disabling TRACS

How do you permenatly disable the TRACS system without effecting the workings of the ABS system? I dont just mean by just switiching it off at the dash, I want it permenatly off, cause its no use to me at all.

tracs does not do alot for me either, but as it is an integral part of the abs ecu i would expect it cannot be disabled other that by the switch..
as it does very little is there any reason why you want it off..do you have a fault light?...
cheers

For simplicity i would just build a little circuit that i would put inline with the tracs switch to either turn the tracs off when the car starts up, or have it monitor the tracs bulb an always keeps the tracs off. It could be enhanced further by allowing you to turn it on again.

or what about fitting an abs unit without tracs??

Take a sledgehammer to the ABS ECU.

Jod - no fault lights, nothing wrong with the system, just planning ahead for planned modifications that tracs might get in the way of
