Gold ekz
Has anyone got one at a sensible price.
With my mbc I hit the fuel cut off so wound it back a bit, but I'm feeling a chipped ekz would be a better option. Cheers.

I'd open yours first to check if it is chippable. It's not just the gold ones that are.

Ezk
The consensus seems to be that the gold ones definetely are, others you have to check.
http://forums.turbobricks.com/showthread.php?t=84817 I have a gold 219 and a black 169 that are both chippable. You're looking for a daughter board at right angles to the main PCB holding a chip in a socket (usually held in with a plastic clip). EZK's that don't have this extra board can be converted with a kit available from someone on TurboBricks. PS: fuel cut is caused by the AMM and/or ECU reaching the limit of their calibration. Changing the EZK won't help that. |
