S40: - New radio for s40 2002

Hi everyone!
I would like to buy a new stereo for my 2002 S40.
Does it affect any control in the car?
Can i fit any brand or type?

You can fit what you like the only thing if your car has the built in amp like mine has you will need the lead for that as you will get no sound through the speakers only the tweeters on the dash I fitted a sony dab better than that huge volvo standard radio so good luck

You can install a new stereo without anything else being affected.

I've just installed a whole new set up, including a sub in my 2003 model... If you want any links for where you can find the required adaptors or indeed anything else, I'd be happy to offer whatever help I can.
