Oil in air intake manifold
Ive been noticing an odd noise under acceleration at the lower rev range, and feeling some more vibration through the clutch peddle.
At first I felt it was going to be a new DMFW, I'm on my second clutch but original DMFW. Theres no clutch slip. After some online reading, some people were suggesting a turbo pipe could have split. So today I decided to open the bonnet and have a look around. First thing that jumped out was some damp/oil around the sensors over cylinder 3, all other cylinders are fine. And oil coming out of the air intake manifold, I took the jubilee clip off and had a look inside and its soaking wet with oil. So I'm thinking its either an oil seal on cylinder 3, or a turbo seal? Anybody had this issue? Volvo c30 MY2008 2.0d S 97k Miles Last edited by Welshiebiff; May 3rd, 2015 at 14:23. Reason: Did not specify vehicle model |
