Unhappy 02 sensor down what affect on car ?

Hi I am new and am after some advice please, I have a 99 C70 T5 which I have spent a lot of money keeping straight but have had bad / expencive advice from local dealer. None of which has helped in the least, ABS lights on and cruise goes off intermitted, engine light on constant. Read you past mail and pulled plug from ABS sensor and simply cleaned the electic harnes and re pluged so far no problems. (after £120.00 of investigation work and further expence of speed sensor replacement).
New problem is overboosting. Sounds fine on tick over but does not like full power, I have changed the plugs but the leads have coil pack on top?
Could this be because of lamba sensor failure ie. Wrong fueling the plugs were very dark and wet (easy tiger) Any advice past experience would be great.
Thanks.:

Hi Mark, and welcome to the site,
Did you have the codes read and erased? this is really important as the code will reappear if it is a permanent fault, If so what are the codes now?,
But small problems like a small spilt hose can cause all sorts of grief and not throw a code,

Just me $0.02's worth, best £50 i spent was on a Gendan fault reader/eraser, I always keep it in the glovebox,

Gary.

PS You fault might be a lambda, could be lots of other things,

Hi there

Overboosting in the cold weather is relatively common.

I would get yourself to a good independant and ask them to setup your wastegate up for you (static boost pressure iirc)

This cured my overboost problem.

HTH

Chris

PS. where are you for local recommendation ?
