Default Volvo S60 T5 54 (2004) - Spares or Repairs

I'm selling a Volvo S60 T5 in grey if anyone is interested. The car is located in Newcastle Upon Tyne.

I decided to buy a Volvo S60 knowing it needed work. I previously had a MK1 S60 that was of a lower spec, owned it for 6 years and loved it, missed it and decided I wanted one again. To date I've spent over £1000, not including the cost of the car but I've ran out of time and money. This model is the MK2 (facelift) and has loads of toys.

From memory it's had...

- Timing belt & water pump
- Camshaft hub and oil seals
- New dash clocks
- Oil and filter change
- 5x spark plugs
- 2x new ignition coils
- Air filter
- PCV system replacement inc breather hoses and thermostat housing
- Power steering fluid change.
- O/S front ball joint

It's smooth and running fine most of the time BUT it's still not quite right under load, I've been told it's a vacuum leak and a MAF sensor (consistent with the codes I've retrieved from my own diagnostics) but I'm at the end of my patience, Christmas is coming up and looking to sell and cut my losses.

I'm sure there are many on this site that have the right volvo diagnostic equipment and time to sort it pretty speedily.

It's got...

- MOT until next August
- TAX until the end of the year

- 6 Speed Gearbox
- Electric folding mirrors
- Heated leather seats
- Leather door cards
- Automatic rain sensors
- Climate control
- Air conditioning
- Power steering
- Cruise control
- Dolby Pro-Logic II Sound System with 6 CD Changer
- Electric drivers chair
- Electric windows
- Steering wheel controls (CD/Cruise)

If anyone is interested, let me know.

Bear in mind you can no longer transfer remaining road tax to the new owner as it will be refunded to you by the DVLA .

The ebay listing says you're not selling it with the standard alloys shown in the pics.
What are you selling it with instead?
Any pics?

It comes with muti-spoke BK racing alloys. If it was a deal breaker I could put Volvo Tethys on instead. Both sets are 225/45/17.

The BK's are 5 spoke 333 alloys. Identical to these ones... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BK-Racing-...-/171550530544

It's back up again, I've reduced the buy it now price since it's after Christmas.

It's been in daily use (and will be until next week), been back and forward to the garage but still got an airleak. It drives fine whilst not under heavy acceleration. It's nearly there but I think I've hit my limit with time and money for this one, spent well over £1k on it last year. Even at £1200 BIN somebody is going to get a bargain.

If somebody knew what they were doing or knew a Volvo specialist it would be fairly straight forward to get what little needs doing finally done.
