  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.

Just how much hardware is installed into the C30, but not accesible without paying Volvo a lump of cash??

Depends what you want and what spec your car already is,

Trip computer is one that springs to mind,

It would seem that there is wiring for most options (such as, fog lights, steering wheel controls etc) but just needs the hardware attached and then Volvo will charge you the earth to carry out the software update to make it all work.

Not very exciting but the wiring for the boot 12V socket is in place regardless of whether you have the socket. The part can be purchased and self-installed.

I'm not aware of much else other than the trip computer and front fogs being relatively easily added.

All the cruise control bits are in place just ready for the stalk if you don't have it already and the steering wheel button block. All that is required after these 2 simple hardware bits is the very expensive software option to be turned on.
