Volvo 262 coupe

Hi,i am a new user of the forum,i had a 93 850 spanish import and didnt know what year it actually was because of the foreign plates and i bought it for parts,i found a message on this sight that allowed me find out info about the car from the vin no.I am thinking of buying a volvo 262 from a guy in mullingar(ireland) and he doesnt know much about it but he sent me the vin number,if anyone knows anything please reply,this 262 is advertised as a 240 2 door and is running well,How rare are they?,this is the first ive ever seen in ireland,does anyone know of any others in ireland,How many approx in the UK,
