Independent specialist Billericay/Brentwood

We currently use Essex Ford (still service Volvo) but the car's out of warranty and they aren't exactly good. Any recommendations in the area?

I was looking for an Indie really, failing that I might try Volvo Chelmsford, a bit nearer than Colchester.

i used billericay essex ford[ volvo authorised] and they were rubbish frankly, failing to diagnose a faulty wheel bearing after 4 visits despite me telling them exactly what it was...so I recently used volvo chelmsford, to diagnose an air con fault, which they did very easily and rectified it at minimal cost, and cleaned my car too.

Yup Essex Ford are pants, never changed as it's the missus car and she was happy to keep going to Billericay

I've used a guy that works for a Main Dealer he comes to your house to do a majority of the things that you need doing and he also gives great advice during an all round check. Whats really good is he will point out to you how to do the right calculation.... I.E... Buy an expensive part but making a killing on the Labour.... Or buy cheap parts and then find out tht the Labour is 40 times the cost of the part to fit it. If you want his number PM me

Is a bit but usually they collect and drop off so no drama. Bought both cars there so they know me, that sometimes helps......let me know how you get on with Chelmsford if you use them.
