Rain getting in!
Hi,
I have a bit of a problem; when it rains water is getting in a settling in the drivers floor pan. I know it's a long shot but does anyone have any idea of the most likely place to look for this leak. It's a Volvo V50 on a 2004 plate. Any help will be gratefully received Thanks David |

Two common problems here:
The scuttle pan (below front wipers) is full of leaves, debris and crap and the water is not draining away as it should. If you have a sunroof then the sunroof drains might either be blocked or the bottom part has come off and causing the flooding effect. |

Thanks for that, gutters seems clear but I will checkout the sun roof.

Pour a little water down the hole at the front right hand corner of the sunroof tray with the roof retracted. It should drain onto the road under the car just behind the front wheel arch. If it doesn't it is going into your cabin instead!
