No bad thing IMHO - rads are almost a service item on these, every 100k or so, so that's one less thing to worry about.

See if you can find out when the cambelt and water pump was last changed. Not a major job but a barter on the price.
Check and re check that the hood goes up and down through the complete cycle. Including the windows dropping and raising.
