'91 740 GL, hard to start, then NO start.

I get a 2-2-1 code from the fuel ECU, "LAMBDA operation/manifold pressure".
What does this mean? I can find no details on how to troubleshoot this. Fuel pressure at the injection rail seems sufficient but the injectors won't fire during the Level 3 test. Aargh, baffled in Kansas. Thank you for any input.

Hi All,
Well I swapped the relay conn's on the RH strut tower and viola it runs.
Paid $67 for a new relay. Oww. What does this other relay work on, sorry to be a bother but for some dang reason our local parts stores here won't carry,
muchless order a 740 manual for me.
