Default Update:

Hello everyone,

I kind soul on the forum had posted a replacement to me but unfortunately the courier had smashed it in transit.

I am really tired of my 940 looking sorry for its self as it was really tidy before all this happened.

Has anyone got a replacement window available still? It is the rear drivers side window (behind the drivers side rear door)

Thanks,

Michael.

I smashed mine a few weeks ago. Badly loaded junk going to the tip, took a corner, badly loaded broken 32 inch TV decided to attempt to escape.

I just got Autoglass on the case. My experience of Autoglass is a long way from good, in that they first failed to tell the difference between a 940 (my car) and a V40, despite me telling them that the V40 didn't even exist until several years after my car was registered. Then they came out with just a piece of glass, before realising that they also needed the surround for it. Then they said my chassis number was not valid, despite the fact that it actually is. Then they asked me if its the same window as in a 760, to which I replied I don't know, its the same series so many common components but there are differences.

But despite all this, after about a week, they did in fact sort it out, and they did a decent job. It cost me my excess (£75), but I'm told it wont affect my NCD because I have it insured fully comp.
