Laptop running Vida 2012D
Laptop for sale, running Vida 2012D.
IBM Thinkpad R60e. Core Duo T2300 1.66GHz 2Gb RAM 60Gb Hard drive 1024 x 768 display Win7 SP1 Pro 32bit loaded and activated. Classic Shell loaded as start button replacement. Setup for autologon as user "Vida" (admin privileges). Vida 2012D loaded and working. Hard drive partitioned and rescue images of bare Win7 (activated) and Win7+Vida2012D stored on the D: (Data) partition along with a copy of Vida2012D. If you trash Windoze or Vida you can restore things back to a working condition using a rescue CD which will be provided. Laptop was previously working with XPSP3/Vida2008C combo with both VCT and DiCE units. VCT needs a serial port so used a PCMCIA card and it worked fine. I've scudded that install and loaded new. Has been checked as working with my own DiCE. The install is clean Win7 SP1 with no updates applied so still on IE8. Comes with working battery with about 1-1 1/2 hour of life depending on use plus original mains charger. Boots from cold to working Windoze desktop in 45seconds and to the point where Vida can be started in just about 2 minutes. £110. Prefer collection or I might be able to arrange courier.
