Can anyone recommend a place near Newcastle/Durham to get the tracking/alignment checked on my V70 AWD R. Last week lost a tyre to a "sink hole" on an unlit country road.
Both rims ok, but would like to have tracking/alignment checked over before I give the car a clean bill of health.

Several suggested on "alignmycar.com" any comments which is best/avoid?

Cheers

Bob

I usually go to a quality accident repair shop as they not only have the right equipment but know how to use it. Laser 4 wheel alignment is something that I have done about every two years or so depending on what work I have had to do replacing worn out parts on the front suspension of my 2000 S80. It's a pretty never ending job rather like painting the Forth Bridge except that I believe they have now done such a good job on that it won't need touching for 20+ years. Pity I can't say for same for my Volvo.

As I said, a good accident repair specialist should be able to sort you out and the bill will be around £50 for all four wheels.

Go to Tyrespot in Darlington, ask for Steve, tell him Peter with the Volvo sent you ! They do 4 wheel alignment.
