Good to meet you to, and help/encouragement is certainly on offer.

We enjoyed the chat and looking at the car. There are places needing work, obviously, but overall it's very solid for a car in its 40s!

I am keeping this really for me as a record of my progress for everyone else a glacier will move faster and will probably be more exciting. Done an hour or so tonight nice new shiny metal for rear light pods and rear screen is done. Paint is only for protection at this point. Both rear corners of screen have rotted out. Forgot to take pics of painted pods but they look good shiny (They were not quite done at the photo stage, needed more work.

Well managed a few hours today, cleaned and prepped a few areas. Both front and rear screen surrounds need welding but its not too bad. Cannot decide whether to remove the final inch of the rear valance, can't normally see it and can't get to clean rust out properly. Brookhouse Volvo will be making some money come Monday.

New headlights, very pleased with my ebay purchase although they will take a little modification as they are slightly wider and won't fit into the pods.

Building my scaffolding frame today to have car in air to work underneath in comfort (If its possible).
