Ric - it's a metric thread! M16 from memory. I originally tapped mine to 5/8 UNC which I thought was right, only to find the switch wouldn't go in.

Would be worth getting somebody else's opinion though, my memory may be wrong.

Hi Dave,

Myself and Ric checked the thread at the weekend.

I think you are right. The only thing we could think of, was that it was an M16 x2mm pitch thread. I'm not sure it can be anything else.

Mike hi,

I've received this post from you for a gearbox, but don't know if it's meant for me - as I have a box spare too having got an M41 now fitted.

It says to 'david' so probably not! If I can help, just ask.
