Default SatNav map updates

My 'free' updates to the built in Volvo SatNav stopped a couple of years go and I decided to update it - but the £280+vat for the official version was too much. I purchased a disc from SatNav Uptate and for £30 I now have a SatNav with the latest European maps.

Useful site if you find that your maps are missing roads, road junction, tunnels or sending the wrong way down one-way streets

Thank you for this update, I'm still in the period of receiving one more free set prior to having to purchase.

Are the ones advertised official Volvo Updates and if so why so cheap? (Not that I'm complaining, I prefer money in my pocket rather than someone else's.)

There are several, but remember you are downloading illegal software from them and you won't find the links posted on here - mods would remove them very quickly.

When you got the free updates from Volvo they stated you had to load all four discs. I see from the web site that you can buy individual ones, eg UK only. If you don't mind me asking but has it loaded ok. When Volvo do a service they upgrade the software in the car, do you know of any conflictions.
Sorry for all the questions.

You need to confirm which type of SatNav you have - it works perfectly for me but I have the DVD based system, if you have the hard disc system then you may need to find another solution - drop the chap a mail, he was very helpful for me.
