Code Reader - Brighton?
Hi Folks,
Having some trouble with my tank (V70, '99, 2.4 non turbo, 140bhp). Revs then engine died whilst out and about. Managed to get to get it off the road and have had the ETM module overhauled (by Spokoluzik on here) but it still wont run. I've disconnected the battery, it then runs nicely but then dies quickly after and wont start again unless battery disconnected for a while. Lucas is doing his best to help over the phone but I need to read the fault codes. Is there anyone in town who may be able to lend me a code reader or could advise? Many thanks. |

Hi again,
Just to complete the thread for anyone else with similar symptoms... Turns out it was the fuel pump relay (103 in the main fuse box) had gone. Another reminder to all those who just assume the ETM has gone; start with the simple things!! Thanks to the Amber Garage in Southwick for getting me back on the road, and thanks to Steve who offered the use of his code reader. |
