Thanks getsome.

The problem further worsens, Saturday evening find puddles of diesel around on the manifold leaking from injector 4. Had it checked it was loose so tightened up.

Will check if it leaks again but any ideas what could cause it to come loose?

Only vibrations come to mind , but this should not happen if torqued properly.
Check also the other 3 , because if someone has fiddled with number 4 then the rest could also be dodgy. Do you know if the injectors has been changed on the car , and if they had did they also change the pipes (which you must do) ?

Hi getsome, thanks again for your response.

As far as I am aware the injecors have not been changed but will check the others.

Also, I have read loads but still not sure on something about priming the fuel pump/lines when changing the fuel filter. My local garage plonked mine in pumped some fuel up as it wasn't starting and that was it. But there's something about a special tool, am I missing something?

Thanking you

The special tool is just a hand priming pump that is used to outboard motors , you very well can have a leak somewhere but It was maybe just some nasty air trapped in fuel filter.

Probably not but I wouldn´t swear on it , but the adaptation values (ecm -> advanced) need to be resetted for the car to learn how the new pedal works.

Hi.
I know this post is old but this really looks like the place I will find answers.

I have a 2008 C30, 1,6D with DPF
I also have VIDA+DICE working great
And finally I have DPF problems

VIDA says my DPF is "full" and my car has now been in "Limp Mode" for a few days. Before this, a few weeks ago, an official Volvo dealer changed the sensors and cables on my DPF (though I'm not sure they really did something about the cables, because they look pretty old to me).

So I tried to do a force regeneration in VIDA, but it gives me an error message that says "operation failed". It's weird because everything else works in VIDA, but these 4 parameters in the ECM advanced menu don't.

Can someone help me with that ?
Can someone also tell me how to check if I'm above the 100 limit for regeneration ? (can't find this anywhere)

Thanks already for your help !
