I have gleaned quite a lot of info. about doing this job. ie replacing the rotten pulley. Still need advice from someone who has actually done one. I know it is critical to get the cam belt on the right tooth to time it. What I need to know is is the pulley it's self automatically located to the camshaft or is that a separate timing problem? My model is a V40 1.8 XS .Year 2000. Petrol of course. Not done 60thou yet!!!
