Default Tailgate lights - seals

My V70 doesn't seem to have a seal of any kind between the bottom of the light and the tailgate. See pics which I hope show the gap. Can anyone check on theirs and let me know if it looks the same as mine?!

Seems a very big gap to get wet and dirt into. Unless of course I have something missing.

They're similar on both sides in that you can see through the gap to the inside, it's a bit hard to photograph though!

Just been and had a look at mine and there doesn't seem to ba seal there either, though mine doesn't seem to have a gap as large as yours and the gap is very uniform. I did take mine off the other week and they were quite dirty behind, gave them a quick clean and polish before refitting.

Might be an idea to remove it and re-seat it, might look better. however I think it's likely you will break a clip removing the interior carpet style trim.

(ps when I get time I will do a guide with the photo's I took)
