Steering/Tie rods
In order to get through my MOT, I need to renew the steering gaiter on my 1995, 850 estate. It looks like a fairly straightforward job (according to Haynes) but I have been reading various problems regarding seized lock nuts and "punching" the tie rods.
I am a beginner and dont want to bite off more than I can chew. Can anyone spell out what this job actually entails please. Thanks. |
