My 1999 v70 Passed its mot with flying colours to day not bad with 221000 miles on the clock,so a happy man

I took my 1999 V70 for an MOT as well today, it failed

There is too much play in the track rod knuckle where the track rod end attaches. Apparently it's not a hard job to do but I'm recovering from an operation at the moment so got it booked in at the garage for them to do it next week. Not bad really though as it's on 150k.

Well done on yours passing, I'm hoping to see mine get to at least that sort of mileage

I know the timing belt is due though and you have to wonder if it is worth doing on a car that isn't worth much... Especially as the C70 needs the timing belt done as well!

Cheaper than buying another car, and better the devil you know etc etc!
