These 400 series cars have a habit of rusting around the rear wheel arches so a couple of pics of these would be good. I would just put up all the ones you've got really, it looks good though.

That certainly is a very nice looking example!

Thumbs up

Looks utterly spot on, decent colour scheme too.
Hope it goes to a good home.
Very rare a 460 then it's an even rarer disesal and then the astonishing low mileage = a museum piece (almost)!
This will sell!

Pictures of the rear wheel arches on the car - no rust as was warned this could be an issue.

The car is still on its original set of Uniroyal tyres, with an unused spare wheel. The car is not taxed, but will come with a 12-month valid MOT. It does have a new battery too.

I think you are probably at the point where you need to put up how much you would like for the car. It is a very nice example and as others have pointed out the diesel engine is an appeal too.

Once people know what your really looking for it I'm sure some offers will come your way.

All the best, hope it goes to a loving home.

Hi

Thank you for all of the advice received through this forum. I've been keeping my grandad updated, and he's been quite fascinated by the interest.

The car is in exceptional shape (and it should be considering he owns his own garage), and from previous posts it says an exceptional car may fetch up to £2k, therefore he's asked me to put it on the market for £2,000.

Any questions, or more pictures, just ask

James

That's one special car! Best of luck with the sale and I hope it goes to someone here who'll look after it as deserved.
