wanted:amazon steering wheel, 4spoke

Hi all.

I'm just about to get started on restoring my 1969 2 door amazon. It was my everyday car until about a year ago when i took it off the road as it needed a fair amount of welding. My intention is to get it back into a solid water tight condition and use it again as my everyday drive.

I am still looking for a late amazon steering wheel, 4 spoke type, as i have an odd sort of sports small one fitted by previous owner as a temporary fix that ended up being not so temporary.... And the said wheel helps to make steering at low speeds reallyhard, the car is sitting on volvo aftermarket wider steel rims with 185/70r15's which no doubt adds to the heavy ness!

Has anybody out there in the uk got one they want to part with?

Will post a pic of the type i'm looking for here or in my album "getting my 2 door back on the road" soon.

There are a number of other things i will be looking for no doubt as i get further into it.

hi ya finn i have wheel beside me all wrapped up i just have to swing by the post office first chance i get so i havent forgotten just last week was manic jumping from one job to another lol but it should be with you shortly

I haven't got to my car much yet anyway, other things have taken priority, soon soon soon though......
