General: - Towing accessories

We own a US model 2011 XC-90 AWD and purchased a camper to tow behind. The camper has electric controlled brakes and requires the installation of a brake controller under the front dash. I can not find a geniune Volvo brake control part or a 7-pin wiring harness. I want a Volvo part so a local dealer can install it. Is there such a part and can it be purchased in the US?

Hi there,
Thought i'd at least acknowledge your post but I have no idea of the answer. But you could try one of the US forums. I have used Boston Volvo before to source some parts a few years ago before shipping costs became too expensive. You can look them up online - they were very helpful when I was looking for some trim parts.
