No the V70 ive just brought is silver sand and its certainly not dull in fact quite the opposite, I asked because of my many years around volvos I've never seen this colour before I think its quite a find.

Couldn't agree more

It also hide any scratches very well, better than silver IMO.

Volvo later brought out the Moonstone (or similar name) on the S80 which looked very different. I think that one had a hue of Lilac/Purple in it.
