newer V50 stuff & some R-design parts

Hi!
I'm looking for some stuff for my V50 2008.
1: New front grill with the newer and bigger Volvo logo, a big plus if there's a R-design mark on it.
2: Lower door strips for the R-design. I got the side skirts on but noticed that the lower trims on the doors is different. Colour doesn't matter as I'm gonna repaint them myself.
3: Lowering springs!
4: The new foglights with LED. I got the older ones which I've put LEDs into but the real deal looks so much better.

1. The newer bigger Volvo bage is called 'Iron' so your after a Volvo grille with the Iron badge. The non R-Design surround to the grille is a bright Chrome and the R-Design grille has a dull brushed aluminium type colour.

2. If your going to repaint then the best place may well be from a scrappy/dismantler. It is pretty rare the bottom door trims are on here for sale.

3. Volvo's own lowering springs are Eibachs, you may well be better off sourcing a set straight from a performance/motorsport site. Shark Performance are both Eibach and Bilstien agents and I'm sure would be able to do a deal for forum members.

4. The LED fog lights you talk of are not fog lights at all, they are DRL (Day Running Lights) as fitted as optional extra on MY2011/12 cars onwards. These lights take place of the Fog lights but they are NOT fog lights.

Ah, thank you SonyVaio. 1: I really didn't know that the R-design grille also had a different colour!

2: Yepp, been looking at scrapyards for some time but they're quite hard to catch there aswell...

3: Once again, didn't know Volvo used Eibachs! You learn something new everyday huh.

Here in Sweden it seems that many are using H&R lowering springs and are satisfied with it but I wanna look around before I'll buy anything..

4: Ah, common problem I guess... This time I acctually knew that they were DRL's but I didn't know the difference except that the DRL's are better looking.
