Default Rear wing reflectors

In the uk they were on 1978, 1979 and 1980 modle year cars for five door and only 1978 for the for door cars as the 1979 4 door had the new wrap around lights, the estates got that with the face lift 1981 modle cars.
The US cars had them some years before.
As you say your car is a 1978 car as the silver trim is on the grille not the edge of the bonet and UK cars did not have round head lights after 1978

Wow nice car! Actually, yours is the twin of mine, except for the headlamps. You can get the lower 1/4 repair panel and also the spare wheel tubs- mine has some rust at the joint between the two panels. I think the pre-1981 models are the best looking 200's out there.

If you want, you can get an LPG kit for where the spare wheel goes- then you can get the equivalent of 45mpg in a proper old Volvo.

wow good looking car it takes me back a year or 2...i started serving my time with volvo cars when 140's 160's were still out also very 1st 340 was an old sreg remember it as if it was yesterday even duke of buccleugh had a reg 265 .

i love volvos and still currently working on them
