Any advice appreciated on this please I have a c30 d5 on a 59 plate
It keeps throwing up the engine service required the fault code is apparently the oil level sensor which has been replaced and now several days later the light is back on any suggestions please ?? |

it sounds like thier is too much oil in it mate.
it should only be 3/4 full, mine done this when it had too much oil, very common. pull the dipstick and check how much oil is in. if its full then theirs too much. hope this helps! (this is comming from a s40 owner so yours might have an ammended dipstick but mine is a late 58 plate and is the old style.) |

My 2007 V50 D5 has just had a top up of oil and has gone over 3/4 full (1 cross below full on dip stick) now I have "ENGINE SYSTEM SERVICE REQUIRED" could this be the same fault as car is a little older? Also engine seems to be revving a little higher than normal and acting a little strange.
Cheers |
