Manual Boost Valve Information
I fitted a manual boost valve to my car a couple of months ago got a turbosmart one from ebay about £30 posted. Fitted it to the car and found it get to the boost level I wanted 1.1 bar but would spike badly over that. Put up with it for a while and drove very careful but decided after looking about online that one it could be a fake as lots of fake turbosmarts about and also that there was better ones out there after reading more reviews online.
Ordered a forge unos valve cost about £80 delivered and came today was sent yesterday really nice feel to it and made well also comes with 2 differenct springs so depending on what boost are running you have a very wide range with the soft and heavy duty spring. As I'm only running 1.1 bar kept to the soft spring connected it all up and took it a run. 1.1 bar bang on and only spiking maybe 0.1 /0.2 over that for a split second where as before I was getting a couple of bar over with the old turbosmart one when spiking. If you are looking at getting a boost controller I know some people don't like them and some do then I would highly recommend the forge unos . |

You get what you pay for and Forge products that I have had or know others that have had are excellent quality and like Ronseal, "do exactly what it says on the tin"! Thoroughly recommend the company and it's products - customer support is excellent too.
