Default Snow Foam?

Recently my sons driveway drain has become blocked after his son washed his car with Snow Foam.

The driveway drain is some 19 years old and we are now wondering if this Snow Foam is dislodging age old muck and blocking the drain pipe?

On both blockages, it has taken a couple of hours to clear the drain.
Has anyone else experianced problems with this product?

Meanwhile, Grandson is banned from using the cleaning agent.

Thank you.

tem.

Must be absolute coincidence and just your drains that are the issue.

At the end of the day it is just soap bubles, sure there are some chemicals in there but it won't have any effect on the drains if they are in normal working order. No doubt if you got a few dyno rods down there you'll find a few of the neighbours disposable nappies or something causing the issue.

Tree or bush roots are also a normal cause for blockages but Snow Foam - Nope!!

This would not happen to be with Autobrite Magifoam?

it does last a long time it should not block the drains what so ever unless used in a very strong manner.

No trees and this is a dedicated storm drain.

Snow foam is a pre-wash to remove surface grit and grime before hand washing so that when you do handwash there is no bits on the surface than can cause minor scratching (web effect).

Snow foam can be used with either a pressure washer or a normal hose with the relative lance/gun. You add the Snow Foam chemical to a bottle which screws onto the lance and then it is sprayed over the vehicle to create many bubbles lifting off the dirt and grime.

Snow foam is also great fun to wash your car with and get your kids involved. In fact, it really is car washing for big kids. It is almost impossible not to grin and smile when your car gets snowed. Childish, yes, and apparently it also helps to clean your car!

cant see why snow foram would block a drain, its pretty mild detergent as it doesnt damage wax/sealant etc.

Had the guy been off roading and got his car thick with mud? that would block the drains.....

We can only think that the "Snow Foam" removed age old muck and blocked the drain.
The drain is some 35 to 40 yards long before it enters the main culvert.
Hopefully, now unblocked, my son has a squeeky clean driveway drain.
