Got my yesterday, fitted, no problems, plays OK on HU 801

Are you using USB pen or SD MMC card? My USB pen doesn't remember where it was and refuses to play and I have to unplug it everytime I re-power the radio.

Make sure your USB or sd card is clean and formatted blank before you add your mp3 files to each cd folder. The correct file paths are essential. I also found a very large single mp3 (70 minute) does not load.

I'll try that. I read the Yatour does not like big mp3 files but I don't have a problem with that. Does yours scroll or display the arist/title on the dash?

Mine has never showed the track names, I also read somewhere that it never will because of the hu head unit's ability to read those attached info files. Correct me if I'm wrong but the hu unit won't even read mp3 CDs.

I haven't noticed but does a normal cd display the track/artist names on display?

I don't think the HU will play mp3 files.

Before we bought a Yatour I was around on the internet and everyone who sell this to Volvo says it does not work with RTI.
We bought one and have made an adapter by ourselves for connection in the back of the Volvo V70 2001 model year on the 13 pin connector that was on the TV module. Works perfect, both with RTI, TV and Rear Camera. Will probably work even with an Xcarlink. The sound is very good.
