Default how do I remove this sill trim?

How do I go about removing this piece of black sill trim so I can get this horrible badge repair fixed properly on my drivers sill? Ive got everything stripped out behind it but Im not sure how to get the trim off without breaking it as I would like to re-use it!

It's held on with a series of centre-pop clips, and should prise off with the aid of a firm, broad, plastic spatula or slim wooden equivalent.

Put the blade on the bottom edge and, working along the length of the sill, gently flick the blade upwards; if you can get someone to hold it as you work it's easier.

Refitting is done in a similar fashion, though you'll probably need to buy some new clips. Hang the trim from the top of the clips, and push it down over the clips. Again, having an assistant makes it a lot easier.

i took that trim off on my car- some of the clips broke, others survived. best to try get some new ones although i think i had a combination of sticky mastic stuff and reusing the ones that survived! seemed to work!

They're not £4million each - figure on twice that, plus VAT of course, and you'll need 6 or so...

Plan B, mastic, looks good.

sounds about right! I replaced all the clips that hold the bumper hockey stick trims on the back of the car and they were about £2.50 each from my local dealer. OUCH!
