Default Side indicaters

Does anyone know of a tool to purchase that can allow the side indicators on a P2 to be removed without the stupid drilling out of the wheel arch rivots ,mudflap removal etc etc? we know its impossible to get at from within the door appature.by hand as its too narrow.
Ie one major hassle to replace the bulbs.

Try masking tape on the paintwork then use a piece of thin plastic, credit card type plastic is ideal. Push the tabs in from the side to release.

Push the rear of the repeater gently towards the front of the car, and gently pull on the rear of the repeater out.

This for sure does not work ! just try and see ! For one it sits in a recess so cannot be slid along, when i tried all it did was break a small part of the indicator!
Whoever made the pdf up did not try what they suggested .

it very easy ..just use a screwdriver and cover the end with papertowel or thin cloth and insert near the middle edge of the indicator cover and it will easily come off. Once that part comes off just pull it with your hands.
I just did this way 2 days back to change the bulb on my 2006 S80. I kinda gave it a try and see if this way works. No scratches or whatsoever.
