  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.

our xc90 executive 18"alloys have begun to blister and so has the splash guard at the front of the vehicle.

are these warrantable?

Hi - I would suggest that these would be covered by warranty as long as the vehicle is still covered by the MANUFACTURERS three year warranty. I had front seats replaced (just the bits you sit on - they went saggy). Speaking to my dealership it seems that trim type items would be covered with no argument - but they wouldn't be under the Volvo extended warranty which seems to be restricted to mechanical items.

If blistering is happening I would definitely pursue the issue. As it's two items which are giving trouble they might well ask you about the routes you travel - maybe you're in the habit of deliberately driving through acid baths on your way to work???
